Hi, I have about 13 pcs of discus with about 60 pcs of various plecos in one tank and I have no problem so far. The plecos generally leave the discus alone. But once, I noticed the common pleco going after the slime of the discus body in a lfs.

Hi Fishybiz, u can be garanteed that L25 is really a peaceful pleco even though the spines and spikes on its body look real threatening! I have not heard any complains from fellow L25 keepers in Singapore. The beautiful fellow is really being misunderstood.....

Generally, they should be fine in temperature ranging from 25-29 degrees. In Singapore, the temperature is pretty constant and my tank temperature in the 27-29 degrees range. Both L47 and L177 loves current so do trash the water around a bit ya....

Hi kidman, I ever had 3 L14s which I bought at 2" and they grew to 6-7" in about 4 years time. Currently, i have 2 of them, a 10" and a 4" and they are living happily with the rest of my plecos and discuses in a 180Litres tank. Give them lots of meaty food though cuz they love it! :)
