this might be a dumb question but does a catfish NEED its whiskers to eat??

When will I know if he needs the meds? I am concerned now about blood poisoning since he is soo badly beaten. I will get pics up soon

i have two quarantine tanks: a 15g with substrate and a 10g bare bottom. Which do you suggest? So you say no medicines at all... just keep him in nice clean water until he recovers? I will try to get some pictures so you can see how bad off he is.

awesome thanks... how long will they be comfortable in this 10g.. they are in with a male betta (female is in the battered wives rehab tank) the next biggest size tank i can offer would be my 29g planted with angelfish and tetras... i would put them in my 120g african tank but way different tank ...
