Astrodoras asterifrons comes from the Rio Negro and looks *similar* Scorpiodoras heckelii is the most likely candidate I saw for both region and appearance and the photo here on PlanetCatfish of Hypodoras forficulatus appeared to be a dead, dried up specimen and could have looked quite a bit ...
