Missed the merging then...so forget my stupid remark :)

If you look in the Cat-elog, you'll see that ie. sp(4) is the albino kind, sp(5) the longfin kind, which would make sp(6) the longfin-albino kind I guess...correct me if I'm wrong here.

Hi y'all!

Hi everyone,

I've been looking around for a while and thought it was time to register :)

I'm a veterinary technician student from Belgium. I currently have a 54L tank which is home to 6 Corydoras cf. lamberti and 2 Ancistrus sp. (3)

I'll be hanging around for a while...

Grtz,

Nieky

Ancistrus sp. (3)

Perhaps a stupid question, but what does the 3 stand for in Ancistrus sp. (3)? I know what sp. means, but I can't figure the 3 out...

Me neither, but then again, I'm still working on the tank. I got 6 of them, varying from 2 cm till 5 cm. They're a happy bunch, accompanied by 2 Ancistrus sp. (not quite sure which, my guess is the common kind :)) The biggest one is most shy, the smallest one is the bravest... strange behaviour ...

Thanks for the reply. I'm quite positive they are C. cf. lamberti and to be honest, I think they're a lot prettier :)

Telling the difference...

Hello everyone, How can one tell the difference between Corydoras isbrueckeri and Corydoras cf. lamberti ? My LFS sold me some C. isbrueckeri , but I suspect them to be C. cf. lamberti , since they appear not to have a "long nose". No photo's available, because I don't own a digital camera. Thanks ...
