I have 6 sterbais in a twenty long and 4 of them are very active but two of them always like to stay hidden. It may vary for each individual, but you may also have a fish in the tank that might be harrassing the cories.

Crossing Sterbai and Orange Lazer corys

I was wondering if it is possible. I have seen my orange lazer males doing the T behavior with my female sterbais. Both male and female corys of both species were present. They laid eggs but over half the eggs were lost to fungus, and the eggs that hatched were sterbais. Where are the orange lazer ...

I have a 75 gallon with a wide assortment of fancy plecos. I don't have the L-134 but a friend of mine does. He feeds it fresh yellow squash and fresh zuccini which it seems to love. Some of the foods I feed my plecos include limabeans shrimp pellets and occationally carnivore pellets. I have fed ...

I bought the ones I have now about six months ago and I am not sure how old they were when I got them. The barbatus are about 2.5 inches and they were with a lot of fancy plecos and some small south american cichlids. They laid the eggs in the late evening. I had done a large water change the previous day. The next morning almost all of the eggs were the translucent brown color of fertile eggs.

Barbatus cory eggs won't hatch
