Does anyone know where i could order a moustache catfish or rather several of them? the scientific name is hemisynodontis membranaceus. i have been trying to find these fish for quite a while and have not been able to.

i have had my red tail for about 6 months now and i feed him a mixture of shrimp that i get at my local store, the little ones that you get in a pack already cooked for human consumption they are about $2-$4 per pack he also gets a lot of earth worms just pick them up in my yard and he gets gold ...

that is a nice fish....

the pictus that i have had will eat anything that i fed them, i have used pellets(shrimp),earth and red worms, i have fed them common house snails that are local here in oregon, i have also used small goldfish and rosie reds. i dont think you can really get one that is a picky eater.

my brother in law had a rtc that after 4 or so years was around 36 inches, but i have been told that can be a exception. if you look around on the internet you can find pictures of them topping 40 inches fairley regulary if they where raised in a large tank. that is why i am trying to find people ...

does anyone know how long a red tail catfish can live in a 55 gallon tank? and does anyone know if the hormone thing is true i.e. when the hormone level reaches a certain point they will slow down in growth?

the last yellow bull head that i had lived to be roughly 12 years old, i fed him everything from worms crickets and gold fish, i always fed him untill he had a fairly large bulge for a belly and he always did fine.

I am trying to find out how long my red tail catfish can be kept in a 55 gallon tank i got him when he was roughly 3 inches and he is now 7 it has been 4 months or so and i have the means to get a large tank such as a 123 or 150 but how long can i wait to get the bigger tank. any one who knows ...
