thanks for the suggestion, Silirus. I will try get a suitable pvc pipe or something like that and see if my s. nigrita will feel comfortable enough to get away from the powerfilter intake hideout. thanks again.

hi all, i have a synodontis nigrita (about 4 inches) in my 55g tank housed with dither fish (5 redeye tetras). close to 1/2 of the tank is covered with driftwoods/rocks/ and leaves..i expected my s.nigrita to be happy with this setup,,however, i've never seen it hiding under those furnitures. it's ...

hi,
in not an expert, but in my opinion... since they can grow to like 6 inches, and they need lots of cover (rocks/driftwood) plus open spaces, i say 9 eupterus will need atleast 90g? again, i'm not an expert on eupterus, so i may be wrong.

hi, i think letting the cory some time to get used to the tank helps. i've noticed that sometimes corydoras gets alittle shy or timid for awhile when they're introduced to a new surrounding. Offering a piece of driftwood for cover helps them feel more safe enough to start eating. and again, i agree ...

hi,
I feed my corydoras Hikari sinking wafers and TetraMin tropicla tablets. Also, I occasionally feed them Hikari frozen bloodworms (they go crazy for those!). hope this helps

Hi, I think corydoras do alot better in shoals of 6 or more (plus, you'll have greater chance of successfully breeding them too!).
