I have been adding a liquid plant fertiliser on every partial water change (weekly). It includes iron. Is it safe to keep adding ? Is there an unsafe level ?
How can you check , is there a test kit available ??

it does spread quickly (1-2mm/hour)sometimes quicker. It will spread across a piece of wood for example and then disappear. It then may start again from another point on the same piece of wood. I'm not sure if it grows in the dark although i did see some starting to grow on the tank wall starting ...

Does anybody know what this is ??
This wierd algae (?) has started to grow in my tank. It grows rapidly on the wood (about 1-2mm/1 hour !!) And how do i get rid of it ??

I noticed last night that the water was very slightly cloudy but i thought nothing of it. I looked again this morning and the water is very cloudy and there is a sweet smell when i open the tank lid.
