BN Breeding

:?: How can I separate my male BN from the babies once they become active and before he tosses them out of the cave. The last batch went out at night and most of them are gone. It's a community tank. Is there some way of moving everything to a safe area - breeding trap, etc?

According to the book I have, L081 has two sub species - Special I and II. Although questionable, they feel the size would be 15 - 20 cm's.

There's plenty of current in the tank as the cave is directly under the outflow of an AquaClear filter and across from the outflow of a fluval filter. He does sit out on both the cave top and the log but spends 75% of his time - if not more - inside the cave with the polka dot loaches who adopted ...

Gold Nugget

Are they extremely shy? I've had mine for a few months now and he spends about 75% of the time in his cave. He comes out in the late afternoon or early evening to hang on the wood area but is easily scared off by movement in the room. The tank has numerous cave areas as well as plantings.

I think the number is correct. This guy is a pretty sharp importer of rare fish. He'll tell you if the group of fish is good or to leave them alone if they are bad. He gets in some really good items and will drop the exporter if he doesn't like what he gets from them. He imports from all over the ...
