Bristlenose breeding
Ive read the articles re bristlenose breeding on the site and was convinced my bristlenose was caring for eggs. Hes full size and has taken residence in a slate cave. We didnt see him for about a week of feeds when normally hes quite aggressive for the food. I peeked in the cave and saw all fins ...

L200 help needed
I bought a lemon spotted green pleco at the weekend. Since its been in my tank it has got some greyish brown stuff (can't get close enough for a pic) on each side of its head which is also on the join between the head and the frontmost fins. It also has a slightly discoloured patched just behind the ...

Bricks and mortar now under the floorboards. Its actually not that difficult to do once youve seen it once. I'd recommend anyone doing it if they have the same problem. It turns out that the 700kg or so was only resting on 1 joist... ouch, now theres 3 chunky ones and a lot of bricks :) Lost 2 fish ...

Moved it all last night, took about 5 hours. Had to do a 50% water change as I was running out of water containers. The plecs weren't too happy about being moved though! And how difficult is it to catch rummy nosed tetra, they are the fastest slippery fish Ive ever laid eyes on... Well the tank is ...

Tank too heavy?
Hi I have a 380 litre Rena Calvados tank with rocks in it in my living room. It is about 2" from the wall and unfortunately the joists run in the same direction. The back is 0.6cm lower than the front due to sagging I think. Anyone ever had this problem before. Will it get worse? The last thing I ...

Ill plecs :(
I have recently lost a plec because they had a white patch on their back (oval shaped, fungusy looking). My other one now has the same and I think my L-245 has got it too?
What can I do? - change the water, add medicine?

Brine Shrimp - newly hatched or adult size?
Hi there I have a brine shrimp question that Im struggling to find an answer to on the internet. - For feeding the main community tank (not fry) should I be giving them newly hatched brine shrimp (more nutritious) or feeding my brine shrimp so they get adult size then giving them to the fish? If I ...

syno multipunctatus
One of my corys I found yesterday looked like it had been attacked, a gash in the head with several scales missing.
Im not sure if this is disease or if something is attacking it, I have a community tank, could my syno mulipunctatus be doing it in the night while scanning ground for food?

I am requesting permission to use one of the close up pics of the L245 to use as my general avatar on fish bulletin boards.
It said the pictures are copyrighted, so rather than pinch it I thought Id ask.
Who is the owner?
