Reg BN fri from Albino's
Is it possible to get reg BN babies from Albino BN pleco's? I just had a batch of fri and all of them except for two seem to be dark. This is my first time breeding these fish so I not quite surte what to expect. I don't have any reg BN so I know that the parents have to be albino's.

SICK PLECO
I moved him as soon as I discovered his illness and I never feed them much protein before. Their diet is spirolia and kelp flake, cucumbers, Sera walfers and peas.
Hopefully my LFS has the meds you are talking about.

You keep these type of wood in your pleco tanks? Is it ok for them to eat? I have Albino BN Pleco's that I am trying to spawn with not much luck, so I am trying to get everything perfect.
I see my smaller pleco's are eating the Melaysain driftwood because I find little pieces everywhere when I clean ...

Hi MatsP,
My females are about 4-5" and my male is slightly smaller.
I have read your article it was very informative. I also read that I should do a two week cycle of water changes. The first week I do a 25% water change droping the temp by two degrees every day. Then on the second week I should ...

what type of wood for albino bn pleco?
I purchased a breeding trio of Albino BN Pleco's about 3 months ago and I was wondering what type of wood they should have in with them? Right now I have a large piece of mopani wood. From what I have been reading on some sites is that bogwood or lingus(spelling?) is the best type of wood for these ...

Yes I use that tank for my fri grow out tank. But I didn't see them picking on the pleco's infact this pleco was 1 of 4 that I bought. They are smaller then my other pleco's but they have grown to be almost the same size as the older ones. Unfortunately it was just that one that might have been sick ...

What's the differance?
How can I tell the differance between the Long fin Albino bristle nose pleco and the regular fin Albino bristlenose pleco. Now I know the answer seems ovious but they are about 1.5" to 2" in length and they all seem the same. I have them in the same tank but they all look so similar that it's hard ...
