Hey does anyone know what the L-number or LDA-number for Pterygoplichthys scrophus (rhino plec) is? Or why it doesnt have one? i havent been able to find it and its been buggin me.....

How big do they get in the home aquaria? I've seen sizes from 3 feet, two feet, and just over a foot. Does anyone have one and know how big they get? Cause i am truely interested in this fish, and i would like to pin down a size.

You could even have an oscar. Ive had oscars rearrange the entire aquarium, and then while their at it become curious and smash heaters and then 1" plastic tubing in the back. But i would agree with the above, try stacking large stones on top, ive had that deter some very determined jack dempsies.

yeah i have had my flying fox for several months now, and just on staple flake he goes insane, taking down large flakes at any one time. I've even noticed a frenzy when i put in frozen brine... and he is always plump
