Re: Love at first Spots & Stripes
Thanks Silurus! The photos for Synodontis lucipinnis are so dramatically different in skin tone and elongation of their body. Lucipinnis photos seem to have a dark beige/brown-like undertone - even the juvenile shots show the same coloration. Mine have a dark silver/grey undertone. Does this matter ...

Love at first Spots & Stripes
I found a trio of these at my LFS and they sold them under the S. Petricola, but the more and more research I did here - the more their body shape didn't fit. I fell in love with these little guys that I went and bought three more from the same breeder. The LFS had another trio of S. Petricola but ...

TR Bushynose Pleco - ID please
Purchased cute baby bushynose plecos and looking to ID them for more info about their growth and behaviors. The lfs had them labeled as TR Bushynose Plecos and a search through Google and this site could not find anything. Here is a photo of one. They are about 1" in length and are very personable ...

Thanks Mats! Going out to supply myself with new airstones and filter items today after work. Pretty sure it's a battle scar but wanted to make sure. Couldn't be heater burn because the tank she was in has the heater in the overflow (back in the wet/dry area). Have a great weekend everyone! - Angela

Golden Nugget with a scar
Is this a battle wound or could it be something worse? I moved my golden nugget to a separate tank because she (I think it's a female) was getting very terrorial with my zebras. She's in a really small tank until I'm able to get her 20g setup and ready for her. 1. Water parameters a) temp 86-88F b ...

Just a little "Hello"
Hello hello,
My name's Angela and I have one main tank with L46s and a golden nugget (don't know the L number by heart yet).
I live in Las Vegas, NV where the temps are already reaching above 90F.
Thought I'd join and say hello!
