they are the true 144's, nice black eyes will post some pics of them when i figure out how to do it,

hi guys ive already read knut's article on the 144 and very good it is, where mine differ is it's taken 2yrs for them to breed and the amount of young in the spawning, knut says he got 30-40 fry per spawn where'as mine had 155 fry on thier first spawn, and there wasn't much difference in the size of ...

so i take it from the silence , i must be the first to breed them in the UK?.

hi all

could you tell me if i'm the first to breed the L144 in the UK, i bred these fish on the 23.12.05,
if anyones bred them here are they as slow growing for them as they are for me, thats in a comparison with the bog standard bristlenose that we all see.
