Well I think it is very fish specific, I have recently bought two limas (see my post) ,the one eats literaly anything you put in the tank, different frozen foods, flake, lieraly anything that enters the tank he will try and eat it, yet the other one I'm yet to see eat, I "think" he took some flake ...

Yeah may well need a vet, although I have known one from m lfs thats kept in a large tank swallowed a large algae magnet, took a few days but threw it back up. Hopefully this poor cat will do the same, but as the above poster said its a funny shape so may well need a vet to remove it. Another option ...

Thanks for the replys, and thanks for the welcome, some good advice on this site :) So at 1 foot long they should be able to hold their own with the Oscars, thats good to know, my Oscars are pretty well behaved compared to some storys I have heard, had them for maybe 2-3 years now and after they got ...

Just thought I'd add that atm the 2 limas are about 1 1/2 - 2inches long, and have read they grow slowly so I do have time (I believe) to decide what coarse to take, but I like to plan way in advance rather than waiting for them to be too big and then start planning :)
