Re: Mixing Plecos
I have kept a few bary's together at the same time in the same tank just make sure that there is plenty of hiding spots and plenty of food, and make sure that you spread the food out over the whole tank.

Re: Panaque maccus
When i had mine breeding i had 15 adults mixed amle and female and it took about 3 to 4 months to get them settle and breeding. Of those adults i really only had 2 or 3 males that the ladies would spawn with. The babies were tricky to keep. I found that i just had to leave them in the cave and let ...

The fry are free swimming out of the cave with no yoke sacks. I just wanted to make sure they were able to get food when they want and so i can keep an eye on them.

Re: Feeding tips for L200
I didn't see my first L200 eat for a few months, i knew it was eating but just never saw it. The second on that i got went straight to food but it was from a person i knewand not from the store. Just make sure you keep and eye on its belly. You can also try the garlic thing to encouage feeding.

Re: L104 1st spawn
Do you think it is better to put the fry in a fry saver or just leave them in the tank. They appear to be rasping on everything and are going to the zuccini. I have seen 4 at one time now but i believe there are more. It is just the 15 clowns in the tank plus th fry.

I have got a group of 15 in a 48 by 18 and hoping that they will breed for me. There is a lot of activity around the caves but no spawning yet. Good luck with your efforts.

Re: Plywood tanks
The epoxy was $57 and the wood, screws, and glue was $18. Call it $80. For two tanks in the dimensons that i want i think $40 a tank is a good price.
