Hi everyone. This is my first timing posting images of my tanks.

55g tank: 5 synodontis petricola (2 adult, 3 juvenile), 3 Lamprologus brichardi (juvenile), and 1 Synodontis nigriita (juvenile)

Hi,
i was surprised to see this post because I just came back from lfs (currently @ hawaii)and they had Synodontis longirostris for sale too. However, they looked nothing like the ones in cat-elog but rather looked like young Synodontis eupterus or some kind of hybrid.

synodontis nigrita size

Hi all. I just have a quick question regarding synodontis nigrita: How long does it normally take for them to reach adult size (6.8")? I've been keeping one of them for about a year now. Though I can tell that the fish has grown, it's still just alittle over 3 inches. thanks.

I just heard about this news in Japan (unfortunately, I cannot read Japanese), but supposedly they've found a golden catfish (probably silurus asotus?). From the picture, it seems like it's not an albino form. If anyone knows about this (or can read the japanese article), please let me know ...

I have been keeping 3 microlangis iheringis housed with several otocinclus and neon tetras in densely planted tank with driftwoods. Since iheringis are generally non-aggressive (though they may prey on fry), I think most community fish (given similar water temp. and ph)should be fine.
