There was no mention of Sooty actually having them or of them being bred in Aus. Here's the thread to refresh your memories -

Why dont you list what they have and we'll be able to help you Zeb. Much easier to get the help if you provide the info.

Zeb, are you sure it's the albinos that have bred? It's HIGHLY unlikely that they're mature at 4cm (they're probably only 6months old). That's also a LOT of eggs for a 4cm fish. Who's fanning the eggs? You say the common has his eyes on them, is it possible they belong to him?

G'day Col, There is always a lot of debate over what we have in Aus in the way of 'Ospot BN'. There is a lot of breeding done with them in Brisbane where they are fairly common - I suggest that you drop by the Aus section of Plecofantics.com and see if any of the members there can help you out with ...

Yeah, it's gotten pretty crazy over here with mixed bag shipments slipping through. I've made sure that mine are kept separate from my L104s so there will be no accidents. Totally different diets is the biggest thing i've noticed between the two. They're not as good looking as the L104 but are ...

G'day Kimbo.
They snuck in with the original shipment of L168s and were then mismatched as L104. Picked them up in Brissy.

Looking for a members website

Hi all,
Im looking for a website of one of the members but I cant remember the name, or the web address....

It's a wholesaler/retailer from south/central america that sells L#s and apistos by the box. The website, i think, is usually in his signature.

Can anyone help me????

Ok, my TDS meter arrived the other day and I have been shocked to discover what my water parameters really were.... Tap water - 360ppm RO output water - 23ppm Tank after daily 15% RO water for 7 days - 560ppm. WTF. Did some further testing and have found that the likely culprit is Seachem ph7.0 ...

This thread is proving to be a very informative read :)

Are there tables anywhere that list what sort of TDS we should be aiming for when trying to breed different L#s?

Sorry Shane, im not familiar with the scale 'uS'. Is this the measurement a TDS meter will give us?

Thanks

Shane, the L144s im referring to havent been confirmed yet - they're being advertised as bushynosed bristlenose but are definately not Sp#3 albinos. They are a recent 'import', if you know what i mean.... 8) Im trying to track down some more details.

WOW! Much cheaper than over here where you can pay up to $1k for a L046. Depending on where you get them we generally pay $1per cm for BNs. The bottom has just fallen out of the albino/gold BNs and they're being found in LFS for $3.50 (2cm). L104s - up to $220. Most of the rarer stuff is ...
