Hi,
I have a group of five C Pandas in my discus tank.
They have been in the tank for a year or so and have spawned a couple of times. Temp 84.
At higher temperatures it's all about oxygen.

The main cycle concern with a new tank is making sure the filter has enough Nitrosomonas bacteria (to convert ammonia to nitrite) and enough Nitrobacter bacteria (to convert nitrites to nitrates). Hi Joey, Sorry to hear about you heater. Firstly I am unsure what killed your two angel fish. I don't think it would have been a shock as the fish would have needed to be grounded.
