Hi,
I have a group of five C Pandas in my discus tank.
They have been in the tank for a year or so and have spawned a couple of times. Temp 84.
At higher temperatures it's all about oxygen.

Sorry to hear about you heater.
Firstly I am unsure what killed your two angel fish. I don't think it would have been a shock as the fish would have needed to be grounded. The water and tank do not conduct electricity so to get a shock the fish would have to be touching something like the ...
