Nice looking fish...he seems to have alot of good stuff...if only he would answer my emails...I want to place and order along with others (group order) but they don't answer...we're now looking in Ohio...and elsewhere in Canada.

Simple yes or no question...fry

I have bred many batches of BN plecos both normal and albino. I have noticed no difference in survival rate by seperating the fry from the colony or leaving them in. In fact, I see a slightly higher survival rate if I leave them with the colony. Here's my typical set up for a colony. 35 gallon long ...

I picked up 3 old wine bottle openers (the screw type.) I cut the screws out and I now have 3 stainless steel screwcumbers of my own.

Males grow wiskers around the front and up the front of the face. They grow the most and longest whiskers. Females will have short ones usually just around the front. Do a search on BN plecos and you'll see many pics to show the difference.
