Re: Interesting behaviours of Spatuloricaria
Hi, yes I bred Spatuloricaria cf. puganensis a few times, around 5-7 years ago and raised dozens of youngsters to adulthood. They were never particularly fussy about their preferred food, although daphnia and live worms (bloodworm and blackworm) were well received. If I recall, their first spawning ...

CotM Callichthys callichthys
Great CotM article Jools. Would be good to get Callichthys back in the hobby, not kept them for about 10 years, not sure why they are not imported, they are pretty much spread across the whole of tropical SA.

Hi Eric,
Its been great following your progress with the Amblydoras . I'm sure you've got aquatic publications queuing for the print exclusive, but the CSG Journal would love to feature your experiences!
Cheers,
Mark

Re: CSG 'Spring' Auction - February 20th 2022
Pier Aquatics in Wigan have them available (but best check first). You will need to make sure you get the correct wormline 'type' - either L121, L135 or L305. There are subtle differences in the fin colouration/patterning. I have youngsters (L121) but wont be offering any until the September CSG ...

Re: Peckoltia lineola breeding project - spawned, but...
Fingers crossed Eric. My experiences have been OK with Peckoltia males guarding their eggs as they should. To the point where I haven't needed to remove them at all in many cases, leaving fry to raise 'naturally' in the tank.
I hope your male has learned to look after them by now.
Cheers,
Mark.

Re: How many years have you known the zebra pleco?
I first saw the species in 1991, when I worked in a fish shop in NW England. We got a single specimen which was quite small as I recall and retailed around £85. I first kept and bred the species in 2007. I still have a group (male sat on fry today), including one specimen acquired from Jools a few ...

Thanks Rupert! It was probably my most enjoyable Convention yet. Sad a few folk couldn't travel but everybody else seemed to have a great time. I panic bought some Hypancistrus L136, L500 and L450, plus a few Corys - coppenamensis and venezuelanus.

Hi Marc,
re the camera - Good point about the network connection in the fish house, mine is like a faraday cage when it comes to signals. I should be able to get a network cable in though, so I've ordered one to see how I get on.
Cheers,
Mark.

Hi Marc, Good idea with the camera. I'm planning to do the same for when I'm away. My CCTV company suggested I just get a cheap doorbell camera for the fish house off Ebay. What kind have you used?
