Hello,

all you have to do is disable your ABP for PCF. Even then you won´t really notice the small ad.

Synonyms are Hypostomus aurantiacus, Chaetostomus aurantiacus, Parancistrus nigricans, C.nigricans, H.nigricans, P.vicinus and H.vicinus.

Castelnau´s holotype is of orange color and yes I also think some naturalists were confused and described the grey form as a different species.

to make your sleep more comfortable I try to outline what I found in WA-II about this phenomenom.

Basically, the authors also doubt that all specimens labeled as P.aurantiacus belong to the same species, claming that those from Rio Xingu are confused with L332. They are also irritated ...
