have just bought a new tank to keep my tiger shovelnose catfish and red tailed cat in so the old one is just laying around. I thought I would use it to breed catfish, I am thinking that I will try the bristlenose catfish and also cory's, they will be the only fish in the tank. thanks for your post ...

That does not work. The menu is directly behind the otehr one and if I resize the window I can make the back menu move around. If I refresh the window it does nothing but show up the same way it did before. Its like one menu is stuck in one spot and the other can move around if I resize the window ...

Without reading any breeding info on these guys, I will assume that breeding them would be close to the same as a Common where you would need a large mud encampment for them to lay their eggs.

Especially if they get to 20" they would be very hard to tank breed at home.IMO

A cannister filter might be considered overkill for that size tank, but is by no means out of the question. Generally it's better to over filter and good quality equiptment will last for many years and tanks. I have to disagree that this is would be overkill. I run 2 Fluval 404 on my 75G tank. As ...

To put this in to some sort of perspective. Juvenile (8")adult Arowana's are going for £2000, and Koi Carp can fetch £10000 or more. If I am reading this right than that would be almost double for them here which is insane. Arowana's at that size go for like $100 if the store can even sell them. I ...

My Sailfin that I have, 8" or so, will change color when he receives light. It also depends on the color of the substrate. He was in a tank with blue gravel and would be a dark color with the light off and when I turned the light on you could see him get brighter. He is now in a tank with an off ...

Top Menu

I am running 1280 by 1040 pixels for my screen size. I can only see the top meny that starts with Home and ends with ZebraPleco.com.

I would mention what the other menu starts and finishes with but I rarely see what is there. Sometime it displays before anything else on the page.

One of the key things is to take your time and don't try to stock you newly cylcing tank until you have to.
I think I drifted into LALA land there cause that doesn't even make much sense to me.

But hopefully you see the point.

I wouldn't leave it in there much longer than 24hrs cause it will start to break apart and can be hard to remove. Surely the LFS will be happy to keep your fish for a while, whilst you sort out your tanks.

and if they don't it shows they care more for the money than the fish and I would not return to the store.

I've been in the fish scene since I was about 10. Then I quite for like 5 years and started back up when I was 19 now I'm 23 and my main tank has been running the whole time with the loss of 1 fish and 1 frog.

When I was younger I lost more fish then I do now.
