Had A similar problem Myself. I was quite happy with a few Snails knocking about but that few turned into many.

So, I employed the services of a couple of clown loaches and was amazed. After only a couple of hours acclimatising they set to work.

Thanks Everyone for your replies!!

I put a PVC pipe "Blank-End" in, with a hole in it, the other night and this has become his new home. These are quite useful because they go upto about 6" dia.

Cheers again Stu..

Hi,

My PH is very good and stays between 7.0 and 7.2, but my hardness is below 3 degrees and never seems to rise.
Ammonia is 0,nitrate is about 5mg/l and nitrites are negligable.

Not quite sure whats wrong but my live plants look a bit dull also.

Any Ideas?

Sorry the ...

What Type of Driftwood?

Hi,

What type of DRIFTWOOD would be best suited for my Clown Pleco?

He currently has a couple of pieces of what I think is Mopani but he prefers to rest and hide on a polyresin ornament or one of my plants.

Cheers Stu...

Cheers Matsp... Finally bought my Pleco yesterday and settled for a Panaque Maccus. Everything seems OK and he looks quite happy stuck to one of my plants. I have put a piece of bogweed in for him, but is there anything else I could put in which would be of benefit? Once again, Cheers Mats Stu...

Do you, or anybody else, know if it will be OK for my Tank??

Cheers Stu..

Which Loricariidae would be suitable for my tank???

Hi, I have recently bought myself a 30"x12"x12" tank and I would like to put a suitable PLECO in. I have a couple of Guppies and a few Tetra's in at the moment. I would like a reasonably attractive one which would also keep the algae down. Please could you let me know of any suitable Plecos Cheers ...
