Unfortunately there does not seem to be a lot of info on this species.

The collection is pretty good
We are lucky enough to get a good supply of nice plecos in the last year or so.

I am picking them up from the airport in an hour or so and will post some new pics once they are safe at home.

I have phoned my friend at the petshop that I bought them from. He is pretty sure they came from Brazil, most probably from a fish farm in the area. They bought them from the wholesaler here so getting an exact source is going to be difficult.

Hi and thanks for the feedback I have taken a picture of one of these guys next to a sp3. They are slightly lighter in colour and still have the same spots since the last pics.
