I have heard that 5, with 2 male and 3 female, would be a good mix. But i am not 100% shure.

Thats why i tried to talk about the O2 level. If this is above 6 ppm you could stop adding filters/pumps and see how i turns out. (and soft water).

I dont know your filters, but i have spawned QA inn the same type of tank. And i would say that if your O2 level is above 6 ppm, then you should bee in good shape. In my Juwel rio 300 i have one Eheim 2026, one fluval 404 and one sirculation pump with an airtube, that gives 1000 L/H. With a ...

My guess is that the darkest and the ligthest, are males. mye aye sigth is as bad as my english, so i cant make out the others. But this is just mye guess.

100% shure as there were no others in the tank, they made more than 100 fry last year.

Greate looking plecos ! I tryed to enlarge the picture to have a closer look, but it just became fussy om my scren. But they are quite young arent they ? And how did you manage to post the picture direktly into the post ? Sorry fore the off topic.

ID of my new L 260 ? Location Norway

I bougth these as L 260 Queen Arabesque. They look the same as many of my other L 260, but they are 12 cm / 4,7 inches. I have found some sites where they say that L 260 can become this big, but others say they can just become about 4 inches. The pictures are of a couple and some of the pairs ...

My QA spawns at 80-82 degrees. Higher temperatures than this is only used for dry seasons imitations. ( in my tanks). I usually have a current at aprox. 10 times the tanks volume p/h. They hawe spawned at aprox 4 turns p/h, but make shure the O2 level is high. I use 8-10 ppm. This is Norwegian, but ...

Get yourself a male zebra placo and a female QA. I have both, but you live far away.. But if you would trade one of your female zebs, i am shure there is many arond that could help :D

Sorry i`m bad. I ment mm. As i sad before my L 260 could chose between both and whent for the smallest, but they are not more then 10 cm long. But i did have a 12 cm ancistrus sp witch also tok the smaller. But i can only speake for the fishes i have i my own tanks.

I have used the same sice as we use fore the L 046, internal 32x22x140 m/m i have also made with 40x30x160 m/m, but they have chosen the smaller one, and they have given us some fry in these :D
