aha.. ok.. I haven`t seen something like this on my fish but i`m still guessing I got two males because the smallest one is chased through the tank like crazy so i had to separate them.
They where the same size when i bought them but they now have separated and the smallest one seeme`s to have ...

he he... maybe he should change name to "goldie" or something :)

He`s (i think it`s a he)got two little whitish things on he`s head, almost like wart`ts or lumps... is this what you mean by "tubercles" ?

i don`t know if this works but i`m trying to insert a picture with this message... maybe ...

Garra`s not a catfish ? correct me if i`m wrong but isn`t every fish with a suckermouth a cathfish ?
I don`t know.. i just love theese fish :)

The only trouble i have with them is that they have become extremly agressive against eachother so i`m guessing i have to males..

And "minnow" family.. hm ...

Any info about Garra Ceylonensis ?

I have two of theese lovely striped things swimming around in my tanks and just wondered if anyone else had some experience with this fish ?
At least here in norway they are quite rare and i personally just know about two others that have them.
Too bad because they have a wonderful temperament ...

couldn`t resist looking at the Pimelodus pictus you linked to and i just had to smile :)
I remember we had a smaller tank when i was around 8-10 years old and this fish was one of the inhabitants there..
I seriously don`t remember more about this tank than this fish and a orange thing we called ...

ok, i`ll just see how it goes... they seeme to have found theire space on one of my roots and havent moved a lot since i put them in the tank so i guess they have to make themselves aquainted (?) before i se some more movement.
I feed with spirulina tabs, mosquitolarvae, granulatefeeds an some ...

Things happend faster than i suspected....

Okey.. about an hour after my last visit here I spoke with a friend of mine that i hadn`t spoke with for a long time.
It turns out, he had a lot of Gibbiceps youngsters so he offered to give me three of theese and if it didn`t work, i could give them back :)

My Garra is my baby so whatever i`m getting next, it havt to get along with him :)
The thing is... I don`t have a clue what i`m looking for and when I start browsing the fishprofiles it almost raises more questrions than it answers me :)
