i have the same exact one at the house... i bought it labeled as butterfly pleco, but when i looked up the butterfly pleco, it was striped and completely different one.... sailfin pleco
i have a sailfin pleco with jd and was wondering how can i feed my sailfin pleco without my JD eating it... tried cucumbers, zuchini, pellets, peas, algae discs, lelttuce, none of them worked! anyone can help me?

Pictus and salt?
Do pictus catfish need salt in their tank or is it optional? or it never? some1 advised me that salt shouldnt be put with pictus catfish as they will burn even with a small quantity of salt. I just had one and it died the next day, water parameters are fine. Any other good advise on these fishes ...

hi, im new to this site as i find thise site amazing because it's very specific unlike other fish forums.SO this is good.i have a question that hopefully will be a yes/no question. I have a columbian shark (Arius seemani), will it be compatible with my JD?
