Yea I was surprised myself, but they have grown up together so hence no real problems yet. They actually more like best friends, for when i put in feeders (only once every couple of months) they hunt them doen by herding them into a corner and then attack it is a awesome display of teamwork :D When ...

Wow, love the plecs of course, but your arowana's are gorgeous. How big are they? What size of tank do you have them in ? Thanks Christina, the silver is 12 inches and the pearl is 10 inches. They are currently in a 6'*2'*2' (666L) I will need a bigger tank in future aslong as it is 3' wide so they ...

It would make sense if the laws where the same but they are not, I think the reason is as we are a sub-tropical country Hot summers cold winters, but australia has extremly hot summers and very mild winters. Not many fish would survive a winter in NZ as the temp difference is to great. At the moment ...

Didnt mean to sound aggresive, its more of a joke aussies and kiwis have with the americans. Aussies dont like kiwis being assiocated to there country and kiwis like people to know we dont need aussies, so accept my humble apologie. All will be settled when the all blacks win back the rugby world ...

One last time NEW ZEALAND is not a state of Australia. Kiwis and Koalas do live in the same country  . It is hard to find zebras in australia for they are on the prohibited list and for the ones that are available the price is about $1000 for a sub adult  . Here in New Zealand it is ...

Is there any tell tale signs that ...

My L177 is the mad as a maggot as well, he was shy untill i added some LDA33s (snowballs) now he can been seen all the time. It even thinks he is the dominant one in the tank (only because the snowballs dont show any interest in his aggresive tones). As for feeding he prefers the algae wafers and ...

Perrunichthys Perruno
I'm looking for any info on Perrrunichthys Perruno or Leiarius Pictus. I will be hopefully getting one of these monsters sortly. I was hoping to add it to my arowana tank. Has anyone got one? and what type of temperment do these guys have? Any help would be grateful.
