Hello!
I could use some help with the identification of these two Chaetostoma. Both of them were labelled as Chaetostoma sp. L445 but they look different than I'm used to. They are not from the same location.

Re: Auchenoglanis mess
Thank you. This picture that you used (https://youtu.be/cewdkZHqi6w?t=1496) is actually taken by me. Where did you find it?

Auchenoglanis mess
Hi guys,
I photograph fish in public aquariums worldwide, and I have encountered several big and small Auchenoglanis over the past few years. All are still labelled as Auchenoglanis occidentalis, while I'm sure many are not. It would be simply fantastic if an expert in this matter could take a look ...

Hi guys,
You have always been very helpful with IDs. I hope you can assist me once again after my visit to the local store yesterday. A few plecos from different tanks, none were labelled...
I hope some can be recognized visually.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Re: A visit to the store
Thanks for your help! Unfortunately I don't know how large it was, but I have only seen one debilittera before and it was definitely larger than that one. Here is one more picture, that might be of help?

A visit to the store
Hi again everyone,
In the past, I was helped a lot on this website. Yesterday I visited my local store once again and once again I would love to find out which species I photographed. For those wondering why I would like to know, I keep a database with different species that I have photographed ...

Re: Corydoras species
Thank you both! The fish in the picture below was in a different tank in the same store, I guess that one is most likely to be C. elegans as well then?

Two Auchenoglanis
I photographed two Auchenoglanis that I would really like identified. The first one (bright picture) in a French aquarium last week. I believe it was signed as Auchenoglanis biscutatus, but I don't think it looks exactly like it. The second one (darker picture) was photographed at an importer that ...

Who can tell me which species this is? Looks like the so called 'punctatus' L148, but that's not a recognized species I heard?

Corydoras species
Hey guys,
Here's my last mystery catfish from last week's visit to the store.
A species of cory that has many similar-looking possibilities. Again, no location available.
C. nanus? elegans? CW044? napoensis?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Three different plecos I photographed last week
Thanks! So Hypancistrus sp. L004, L005, L028, L073 (all those numbers seem to be the same undescribed species)
I find this species different looking from the options I suggested honestly (L201, L007, L029, LDA031, L026, etc.). Any particular reason why you say L004? This one seems to have more, and ...

Three different plecos I photographed last week
Hi guys,
sorry for the many questions the last two days. I got to see a lot of new plecos, but they can be so tricky to identify. Here are three species I can't get an ID on. The little one on the green leaf was signed as Ancistrus pirareta, but I'm not sure this is correct. The snowball pleco makes ...

Re: Ancistrus
Thanks! That was the same answer I found, but I was doubting because Ancistrus sp. `RIO TOCANTINS` seems to look rather close as well. Is there any way you could tell why this one is less likely to fit?

Ancistrus
This one is probably very difficult, some Ancistrus without location. It was listed as A. tamboensis, but that doesn't seems to fit.

Hypancistrus
This catfish gives me real trouble. It's definitely Hypancistrus, but anything further isn't working for me. The sign says it is H. inspector (L102). It doesn't look like one, because of the larger spots especially near the head. So then I was thinking about H. contradens, which fits until someone ...
