The seller should know the country of origin. I'd lean towards C. aluuensis as an ID particularly if they turn out to be from Nigeria. If not then I know someone who knows the genus really well and I can ask. There are two species in the Cat-eLog that I never got to ID but almost certainly are ...

He arrived today, here’s some updated pics

I bought one of these about 4” long. I know it will get huge and too big for me eventually, but I already know where I can rehome it at that point. So I’m just wondering what the growth rate is. I can probably keep it to about 16-18” then I’ll have to rehome it.

I went ahead and ordered this guy. So it will definitely have a good home. I’ll post better pics when I get it settle and fattened up.
