I see the males chasing them regularly trying to get them interested.

Nice,
Are you gonna buy them.
[/quote]
No, I have already used up my fish budget for the month and they aren't in the best shape. They are large and only $25ea which I think is a good price.

I spent a good bit of time last evening switching back and forth between the two species profiles looking at/for the differences. The eye stripe being the most noticable.

Re: C brevirostris
@Manoah,
I haven't spawned them yet. This has just been my log for what I am trying. I had a long conversation with the LFS owner yesterday about TDS and he claims I won't get them to spawn unless my TDS is correct.

Re: Breeding corydoras brevirotris
Yes, indeed. I have a group of 7. Unfortunately, I do not have access to live feed at the moment. I do have rain water though and am trying to trigger them. I haven't seen any spawning interest though. There is a second spawn from the Swedish group with 17 eggs and higher fertility. I think live ...

Re: Spotted/Striped Raphael Questions!
I keep 5 striped (2f/3m) and 3 spotted (1f/2m) together in a 260g tank with multiple bamboo hides. I think they are more willing to share hides when they are small or juvenile but less so as adults. They are not fussy about water parameters as long as it's clean. Same with food, if it fits in the ...

I heard back from the local hobbyist that the T intermedia are spawning regularly for him. Unfortunately, he does not keep the eggs but let's the snails eat them. He did note that they typically reach wiggler stage.

Do not, I repeat, do not try catching by hand. Got a nice little stab and injection from one of mine for trying. Hurts like crazy. Fish measures ~5in TL.
