Re: What corys next?
Thanks. Is there a lineage list I can refer to somewhere?

What corys next?
I have some Sterbai in my tank and added a few Pandas but I’m told they could inter breed. Just wondering what else I could add instead of the pandas that what be a good contrast with the Sterbai? Nothing too exotic as they need to be available in the LFS. I’m in the UK and don’t much like the idea o ...

Re: Corys Hugging Surface
I’m no expert but I’d add an air stone if I had a pump and see if it helps.

Re: Soft water
Ah yes, good point about the cost of treated water. One of my local fish shops has loads of large containers of ROA water lined up in the shop but I don’t suppose they use much if any in most of the stock tanks.

Soft water
Do fish shops generally make an effort to keep their Corydoras for sale in soft water or do they just acclimate them to local water conditions? Im aware they do quite well in hard water although I’d rather not use it. I’m just wondering what conditions to aim for in my own tank when I set it up.

Top Ten Corydoras
Limited to the United Kingdom, what do you think are the top ten (or 20 if you like! ) most commonly available Corydoras in fish shops? It’s nice to pick all kinds of fish you like the look of from a book but many are unlikely to be available locally. TIA.

Thanks for that. In that case I may get several species, I’ve always been fond of Panda’s as well.

How many?
I’m hoping to set up a 60 Litre cube soon and apart from some shrimp for cleanup I’d like to have some Corydoras but wondering how many? I’ve seen some small smudge spot Corys I like the look of. The tank will be well filtered with an external filter.
