I noticed my L271s got more adventurous when I turned the temperature up a couple of degrees.
The bigger BN males seem like they're hiding more when they get older though.

Temperature is 28-29C, I think. The sensor for my temperature controller isn’t working, so it’s on the builtin heater thermostat now.

Suddenly my L271s have started coming more out in the open. The water is a degree or two warmer than before, maybe that's the ticket. And they've also started tearing apart my Anubias plants...

Does anybody know what this could be? Lymphocystis? It’s slowly getting bigger.

A rare shot with all my pleco species represented, L271, ancistrus and L340. I have a few of each, the L340s have moved to another tank now.
