I noticed my L271s got more adventurous when I turned the temperature up a couple of degrees.

The bigger BN males seem like they're hiding more when they get older though.

Temperature is 28-29C, I think. The sensor for my temperature controller isn’t working, so it’s on the builtin heater thermostat now.

Panaqolus L271

Suddenly my L271s have started coming more out in the open. The water is a degree or two warmer than before, maybe that's the ticket. And they've also started tearing apart my Anubias plants...

New on the forum! Just a "normal" pleco enthusiast, if there's such a thing :-p I live in Stavanger, Norway and currently have 2 small-ish tanks, a 54L and a 160L.
