it isnt a syno. I am pretty sure it is a Mystus now. i forgot to mention it had big Long barbels like a pictus. Th eonly thin gi cant quite recall is if it had Silver on it

i saw a Upside down catfish in my LFS the other day. Its not a syno nigriventis. It was about 8" and wsa listed as a Upside down synodontis. It was all black and looks similiar to a Mystus Leucophasis. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be.

I have what i believe to be a Common Pleco. Do they eat Bogwood because mine seems to spend a lot of time On the wood. I think he eats cucumber

also it would be cool to have a button that goes to the next entry especially for the pl*cos so that anyone who doesnt know what theres is can just go through it with a lot less clicking.

yeah. I have a bogwood tunnel that he wedged himself in. HE is like upside down in the roof of the tunnel. I dont think it is hard for him to get out. He is just anti social.

well My 55 is 4' long by 13" back by 20" high. JD's get to 10" and i am pretty sure it will do fine in my tank. Mine is 2" right now. I am just asking if there is anything Bigger and more interesting than a bristlenose that i could get. Dont thresher Plecs get to like 7"?

Well I have decided i want to add a Pleco to My 55. There is one at My LFS i really Like. It is a grey background With Speckles of lighter grey. I always identify Catfish by Body Shape, Fin shape and pattern. For example Yur Ocellifer has a Second Dorsal FIn (is it a fin?) that is shaped Like a ridge And that clearly Identifies it as Ocellifer. Also Pattern Plays a big Part

wow. I would feel bad keeping one of those in my 55 and wouldnt even consider a 10 except for growout. That is just Not right. Someone should post a comment on their telling that lady what Really Happens to Big plecs in a 10. :rant:
