Re: L201- Colombian Snowball
Right they are here and alive. The only tank I have to place them is the 55g and is full of little tiny tetras. I read it should not be a problem, a catfish is a catfish and might eat some. Those $30.00 are what I calculated it must cost each to the store, but they are asking $70.00. These would be ...

Re: L201- Colombian Snowball
First, I just notice I posted this on the wrong place, my bad. Thanks for the information. Is good! After posting this I found an online store that sells them for $20.00, tank bred. The store must buy fish by lots, so shipping should not be too much. plus tax. I calculate is at 20 is $30.00 per fish ...

L201- Colombian Snowball
Hi, I just got home from my friendly neighborhood fish store and they had the Colombian snowball pleco. 2 inches for $70.00. Taking account that I live in puerto rico and the taxes. Is that a good price? Also how long they grow. Some sites say it reaches 6.5 inches and others 4.5. This matters for ...

Hi,

Thanks!

Re: Bad incident, take some caution
I consider this a catastrophe. The thought of loosing so many fish at the same time terrifies. I'm sorry for your loss. I limit my use of hand sanitizer because you absorb the alcohol and the other stuff they add to make it undrinkable. Cheap ones may have some substances that seriously harmful, not ...

Corydoras Feeding
Hi,
I just wanted to share a feeding of my C. Aeneus and B. Splendens. I love how they become so alive at the sight and smell of food. I hope you enjoy it as much I do.

Re: Bronze Corydoras dying mysteriously
I can't tell you why this is happening to you but that cloudy eye sure look odd, I have never seen that before. I'm sorry for your loss. During this pandemic I have lost all my Pandas, all my Pygmy's and there is only one trilineatus left. The C. Aeneus, C. Paleatus and B. Splendens are rock solid ...

Re: What is actually causing the mass death of Corydoras fry during the first few weeks of life?
Just add my two cents. I have kept corys for just two years and they have only spawned last year for two and a half constantly. I had more fry's that I had imagine. Literally hundreds of fry's I had to setup two extra tanks to keep them. Same as you didn't last more that 3 weeks, I was frustrated ...

Re: Not a Catfish but may live with them
Thanks a lot. I must admit that it never crossed my mind that a Cory would harass any other fish. I would rather get another tank than to risk any fish. Here cat's are #1, #2, #3. You know what this means? No, wait I can see it but is a bit cloudy, now is clearing. Yes, it is clear now, another is ...

Not a Catfish but may live with them
Hi, I was watching a video last week and they showed some Sewellia Lienolata or Hillstream Loaches. My wife fell in love and want some. The question is this: Can I have it with my corys? I think they can it just depends of the cory species. Right?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Corydoras green/orange laser - infertile eggs
Have you moved since last pawn, if not, is there a new treatment station or maybe they have changed the processes at the treatment station? So the parameter are all out of whack. Also is this the first spawn for this specific group of corys or have they reproduced before? I think it could be that in ...

Re: How many ottos for a 55Gal tank
Hi, Right now very few it has been reticulary difficult for me to keep plants alive in this tank. I have tried elodeas, anubias, java ferns, java moss. The only one that last for some time is the java moss. I was thinking of adding some duckweed. I only keep the lights on 6 hours but maybe there's ...

How many ottos for a 55Gal tank
Hi, I got my 55g tank that I turned into a south american only tank. It has gravel and is the kind that will harm corys, so no corys for now. right now is an all tetras tank. I wanted to add a pleco or two but I would need a species that stays small. So ottos are the winners. I have 8 ember tetras ...

I wonder if anybody visits this forum at all? My YouTube video with the spawning of green lasers has 6 views so it is clear that nobody even bothers to read what I wrote. Re: Are Panda & Paleatus good tank mates for Pygmy Corys?
In the long run, C paleatus would want it colder than the other 2 species. After what you said I made a table of my Cats. Since I have the tanks on different rooms temperature changes and I have a tank that normally stays over 80 and I don have a working cooling system. I'll put the higher tolerant ...
