Re: L136B arrived!
Happy to report that both have found an individual cave they like and I see poop so they are eating. I am removing the remaining food each day and try to deviate between different types of food as much as I can. I am expecting two more L136B by end of next week!

Re: L136B arrived!
Congratulations on the new addition. I have a breeding colony of 10 myself that are wilds. The love meaty food and lots of current -Tony Tony, another question, in your experience at what size can you sex them? On this pair I notice one has a bit rounder nose and the other a bit pointier, hoping ...

Re: L136B arrived!
Thats cool Tony! Yeah I have carni wafers, Fluval bug bites and an assortment of frozen feed and spirulina tablets right now, but will try to order more variety for them. I am waiting on a spray bar to arrive for the 207 Fluval which pumps 7-15x the volume of the tank, thinking the spray bar will ...

L136B arrived!
Hello, I am since recently part of a WhatsApp group of local pleco enthusiasts and amateur breeders that do a weekly raffle and I won a pair of L136B's that just arrived today. The fish are still very small, around 3.5 cm. I bough another pair so I have a little group in my 80Liters bare bottom tank ...

Re: Hypancistrus L236 spawn
I love the yellow variant. I know a few breeders here that are breeding the super white variants but for me the yellow line is way prettier!
Good luck Emanuel with raising the fry, I hope most of them will survive!

Re: L136B feeding
So... how do you achieve this with slow eaters and strong filtration and current? Apologies for my ignorance but my worry is most of the food will end up in the cannister filter this way. How do you do this? Edit: for clarification, these 2 will go in their own tank so nobody else to clean what they ...

Re: L136B feeding
Thanks both! I have frozen food already (baby bine shrimp, red mosquito etc) so thinking they will prob take that. Plus I ordered Fluval bug bites and Pleco and Catfish carni wafers from Plecofood for now. I will visit a few shops in the next week to see what else I can find. Didn't think yet of ...

L136B feeding
So I am part of a WhatsApp group here in Spain that organizes draws or lotteries with fish and yesterday I won a pair of L136B's of approx 3cm's . They will be shipped to me somewhere next week and needless to say I am very excited. I happen to have an empty tank cycled, bare except for some wood ...

Re: My pleco tank, inspired by a biotope
Hi Emanuel, Greetings from Barcelona, Spain! I love this thread, your photos and videos! In the past I had L260 and in my tank they were very shy too (and it was a species only tank). I am absolutely in love with your L236, especially the yellow and regular version! I am planning to setup a species ...

Re: Anyone Done Peat and HMF filter combination
Thank you James, added him to my saved sellers on Ebay. Once i have my space confirmed for my breeding tanks, and can start building I will check him out and see if he still has stock, and most importantly will ship to Spain. I am guessing you took the 5cm 30ppi mats? Those are the ones I would be ...

Re: L134 Peckoltia Compta spawning footage
What a great video! Years ago, when I still lived in NL I had these and some other L numbers. Very pretty pleco's.
I am just returning a bit to the hobby, hope to find some of these here in Spain.
