L134 Feeding
I’ve got a 75g that I setup for a group of wild L134’s. I’ve got 6 total, no ideas on sex ratios yet. I had a group of G.sveni with them but lost them due to a heater incident which the L134 seemingly weren’t bothered. I’ve fed NLS grow, Kens meat wafers, frozen mysis and bloodworms. I’m going to mix ...

75g Hypancistrus tank
I'm considering turning one of my 75g into a hypancistrus tank. Considering getting either six or seven L333 or L173b, not really concerned about breeding, more just something different than the cichlid tanks, and my wife loves any pleco's with black and white stripes. My main concern is if there ...

Pleco for 65g
Usually I can figure out what I want, but having trouble picking a pleco. I have 65g community with tetras and apistos. I'm looking for something smaller and will keep the wood algae free. I've done bristlenoses, but looking for something different. One thought was LDA-31 but kind of concerned about ...

Re: L200 Agression
Not to be argumentative, but this pleco has thrived in hard water without wood for the last few years. Even when there was wood in the tank he avoided it, preferring the rocks.

L200 Agression
I have a L200 in my 125g tanganyikan tank. I'm getting some xenotilapia and I was wondering if anyone has had problems with L200's being aggressive. I never saw him chase anything in my tetra tank, but I never watched at night. He has a large rock pile that he sits in all the time and the xenos will ...

Syno. Multi tank size
I have a group of 5 wild caught adult multipunctatus in my 125g, but I am getting some new frontosa and don't want them in with them. I would like to have a species only tank with the multis but I don't know what size tank to go with. I would like to go with a 40 breeder but I don't know if thats ...

What Tank Size
I'm going to get a new tank pretty soon and I don't know what the best footprint would be for breeding a small Hypancistrus species, possibly L-066. I'm looking for something in the 35g-50g range, but shorter than 48".

Im thinking about getting a small tigrinius for my 75g and growing it out. I have a 125g that I could transfer it to eventually. How fast do they grow and at what size would you move it into something larger than a 125g.

I'm starting to aquire more plecos now and Im starting to run out of spaces for them to hide. My 2 BN hide in a peice of driftwood that has 2 tight spaces for them. My big royal just generally lumbers around the tank not caring. My leopard frog though hides right behind a filter intake. I was ...

L260 Questions
I went to my LFS and the got in a L260. I wanted a L066 but this looked close enough. Not realizing that L260 is a Queen Arebesque I had them put it on hold for me. I had generally been leaning away from them since I read that they need high oxygenated water and fast current. They're also sensitive ...

Heater Protecter
I am scared that one of my plecs is going to snuggle up to one of my heaters and get burned. I have seen what happens when they do this and I want to prevent this. Is there anything I can do to cover my heaters and protect my plecs.

First Zebra Pleco
I saw my first zebra pleco ever today. It took all of my restraint not to buy it, it was 125$ and locally born and bred. I had to settle for a leopard frog plec but its still looking nice, I was hoping the employee caught the wrong plec and didn't know which one was which.

I just got 2 4in BNs today and I just noticed that one has a big belly. I am familiar with bloat but I dont think that plecos could get it.
