Sexing this L-240
Can anybody tell if the small cat outside the cave could be a female? I am pretty sure the big one in the cave is a male. The littel one (10 cm) has been outside the cave for some days now, doing something looking like courtship to me.
Cheers.

Re: L-200 on eggs
There is only one pump to the aquarium, a Eheim 2080 wich should move 1700L pr hour. So there is some currant but not strong.

Re: L-200 on eggs
This is my best poor pic of a L-200-fry. I know it could be a picture of almost any cat-fry. There has been one more spawn in october, but the eggs was gone after 2 days. Both spawns took place in a 530 liters fishtank together with 8 adult Satanoperca leucosticta. Male and female are approx 13-15 ...

Panaque maccus can be breed. I used rainwater to lower the conductivity from 400 us to 150 us. They only breed in bamboo-pipes, never in any other cave. The hole in the bamboo must bee 2,5-3 cm. It all took place in a small tank. Only 30 Liters. Not gallon. I have had this type of catfish for more ...

L-271
The rate of filtraion is 1200 liters pr. hour and it is not directet to the cave, but 30 centimeters above the cave. So the spawning place was not in the current. The fry is still looking good.

L-271
The male has been fanning for a very long time, without any eggs in the cave, but then the Dec 14 I could see fry in the cave. Cave is a clay-pipe sealed in the end, diameter 30 mm. About 15 centimetrs long. Waterparameters. GH 16 PH 7,0 Temp 27 Celsius. Tapwater. I did not expect them to breed ...
