Re: Neosilurus novaeguineae
Oh - very cool. I don't think we have images of these online or much info about them at all. Can I add you pics to the cat-eLog? Cheers, Jools Sure, Jools. I believe HH has also seen them at the LFS. There is a contaminant in this batch that was identified as Paraplotosus albilabris but too bad it ...

Candiru sure don't need a ladder (If they had one, though, they might be gladder). Whatever their genus, They go up your penis And start up a home in your bladder. This epic catfish limerick by @Chrysichthys and others should not be forgotten and can be found here: https://www.planetcatfish.com ...

The Catfish's Tale In waters deep, I lurk and hide My scales a disguise, my heart full of pride I dart and weave, with fins so fine A master of deception, oh so divine My eyes gleam bright, like jewels in the night As I spin my web, a tangled delight I promise the world, with whispers sweet But my ...

Re: ID this Rhinodoras sp.
there were abt 30pc in the LFS but I got only 1 pc.
Tell me what sort of angle or requirement. I will try to get the image.
I can shoot with a 100mm lens on a full-frame body. so I get 1:1 ratio

Re: ID this Rhinodoras sp.
Thanks again, Eric. I know some species are hard/impossible to ID based on photos.
As a hobbyist, it is always fun and exciting to pick up an "unknown" species.

Re: To ground or not to ground?
I "ground" all my tanks with stainless steel probe (connected to the earth of the power socket) submerged in the water. That's becos I hate the biting sensation I get sometimes when I put my hand into the water during cleaning. The weak leakage can come fm the tank light or powerhead esp when it ...

Re: Best gravel for catfish?
I suggest JBL Sansibar sand.
You can mix "dark" with "white" or "river" if you find it too dark.
I use "grey" for some of my tanks.
