Feeding tips for L200
I got a nice new L200 last Friday. Its settled ok into my tank and is becoming more active but I haven't seen it feed yet. I've put in courgette, melon and some dried seaweed so far. Does anyone have one and if so how do you feed and with what please? Thanks

More L. nos. BANNED?
I've seen this month on another plec site that many L no. plecs from Brazil have been banned. Can anyone confirm this please and post any links to why this has happened? Thanks

I would make some large water changes and add a large piece of polyfilter to try and quickly reduce any toxins in the water.
Am I reading your post right, in the fact that you use the water from a de-humidifier to add to your fish tank? This is very bad pracitce even if soap has not been added, as ...

I can see why all this started and why Barbie deleted the post but it all seems a little harsh. There is always the argument for allowing freedom of speech and I personally didn't see anything wrong with the post. However, if the rules have been broken then I suppose a ban can be enforced, as it has ...

Complete let down!
Well I sat through all five episodes (150 minutes) and saw virtually no decent shots of the Amazon's aquatic life.

A nice colony you have there. Will get a lot of people envious (including myself). You will have plenty of time to wait and plan your breeding method. It will take probably two years to get them to breeding size. If you want some of the best info on the net regarding current L046 breeding, visit ...

When it comes to feeding fish, as a general rule, less is definitely best. This is especially true for new tanks and even more so when a tank is very small.
Cardinals are very sensitive fish anyway so even a small spike in nitrite and or ammonia will cause stressed responses.

This is strange because my seven L134s have eaten virtually everything I put in the tank from day one. They are in a 55gal community tank so plenty of competition for food. Nothing special with the water, pH 7.2 and water if hard with a high KH reading also. In my experience the L134 is normally a ...

pH for L260?
I currently have some L260s growing on. The water conditions are pH 7.2 with GH 180 and KH 9.
What are the ideal water paramters for L260s? Can I bring the pH below 7 if needed? I am planning on adding some dwarf cichlids.
Thanks

Full credit to you for doing so much research after the death of your fish. Many fishkeepers just rush straight out and buy another, often because their aquatic store says they are fine to do so.
