I'm sorry, Churchie1, but those 15 week old fish are not C121...or not from a spawn of both male and female C121.
I have 8 week old fry that have a black dorsal, just like their parents. Yours do not.

Any possibility that you have another (contaminant)species in with your adults? ...or another ...

I don't mean to challenge you, but that fish does not look like my C121.

1) There is no black in the dorsal. Mine have nearly complete black dorsal fins.
2) I realize the black cheek spot is variable, but I don't see it at all in your pic.
3) The back back strap on my fish is as wide as ...
