I have what I believe is a male (odontodes are prominent)and he is quite shy also. It's a shame because he's really quite a beautiful specimen. He "creeps" out when I drop in the shrimp pellets for my cories and snatches them. That's really the only time I see him.

This was sold to me as C. elegans but after viewing pictures online...I'm not so sure. There does seem to be a distinct difference in the way males and females look.
