Hi there, Bought most from Wholesale Tropical but 25% came from other sources... The altamazonicum were from WT definitely and at first glance DO look different (they've been in one of my 'dirty tanks' ie loads of algae / loads of loam for the last year and have doubled in size - nearly full grown ...

Hi there, I brought 5 'hoplos' 18 months ago 1 turned out to be a normal 'thoracata' type and 4 are like the pictures below! Is it M picta as the sight atlas.drpez.org suggests or another species ?
