I'm not familiar with the term... What does "flicking" mean?

Can you actually seem them? or might you only see signs of them, in my cory's case, pale tissue hanging out of both gills?

I do have a student microscope. Is there ways to positively identify these parasites?

any help would be much appreciated.

I've got a bronze cory in a 15-20 gallon planted tank.. The pH is a little low but everything else is OK.. There is also another bronze cory, 4 Rhasbora, and a small plecko in the tank as welll. All other fish seem to be healthy showing good color etc.
