Re: Best Sinking Algae Food?
Just throwing it out there--I've had good luck with Sera catfish chips in the past (although they're definitely not something every store is stocking). They actually have some willow bark in them, which is good for Loricariids, but my Corydoras spp. really liked them, too. Also I guess they have ...

Re: New cory with fungus and fin rot
Also one more tip--pandas love being in a school (and I think they're way more interesting to watch that way). If you just have those two, I'm sure they would appreciate getting a couple more buddies. Maybe wait until they're healthy before you add anything, though!

Re: New cory with fungus and fin rot
The best and most effective thing you can do for your pandas is to keep the water as clean as possible. You can almost think of the water like a bandaid--it is in direct contact with your fish's open wound. If the water is dirty, you're going to get ectoparasites, bacteria, fungus, etc., in the ...

Re: bn pleco with distended belly

Re: bn pleco with distended belly
Have you tested water quality recently? That could give you a better idea of what's going on....
You could try giving epsom salts a shot if he really hasn't defecated in awhile (How do you know this? I'm picturing you watching this fish 24/7 to see if it poops--haha).
