Maybe you could add a powerhead with a quick filter to your tank... it would stir up the waste and allow the ehiem to pick it up and also do some of its own filtering. You would of course need to clean both during water changes. Or you could move the wood eaters into there own tank that has better ...

What to do about the waste?
I have a couple of Loricariidae in a â??Catfish tankâ?
Moonlight
Hi,
I'm pretty new to catfish. Recently started a leftover tank because my wife thinks they look cool. Now I'm hooked too. :lol:
I'm thinking of using some kind of moonlight to be able to view the cats when they are most active. Is that common in catfish tanks and if, solutions?
