It's very hard to tell from one pic but they look like L136b! I have been keeping and breeding these fish for a few years now this is how I see it!

L136a very few spots small and well spaced out

L136b more spots closer together but still of smaller size

L136C large spots and close together ...

I treated the whole tank! And it depends of what meds you use
1. Seachems Kanaplex 1 spoon for every 5 gallons & i treated everyday for 14 days
2. or if you use 3rd gen yellow powder 2-3 spoons to a 35 gallon tank once a week! for two weeks so two treatments
both meds should come with there own ...

As you have tried other treatment and you are sure its not water quality! If the plecs are still dying you could try a combo of a antibiotic like Seachems Kanaplex (kanamycin) which is the best for plecos as it is absorbed through the skin! if you can not find that you could try OCEAN FREE 3RD ...

This happen before my L046 where hit by hemorrhagic septicemia a few years back they would also sit in the open on the sand. When on the glass check for any redness around the fins. I think any pleco sitting out in the open either on the glass or sand can be a early warning sign keep a close eye on ...

Cheers Eric and this is first spawn ever for them I bought them as small fry about two and a half to 3 years ago.And i know that often the first spawn will fail for many different reasons. They were layed on saturday/sunday so i should have some idea by around friday

I have got to say i am 100% with you on this TwoTankAmin all my fry are left with the adults unless there is a known problem. i think it is just a thing a fad that makes people feel more professional.( just my opinion)

I know there is alot of interest in the super whites and i have seen a few ppl keeping just them! But you should try and breed back to so called normal every so often to keep ...

I just noticed on L250 it says 9 Registered Keepers!! All the info out there always said there was only ever 8 plecs and nearly all of them went to Japan for silly money!! Now i have been told by a few contacts in Japan there are only 2 are left both in Japan ( 1 in pic below) Just out of curiosity ...
