Sorry, it seems like the distribution for T. truncatus was fixed in the functional areas (map, search) but the CLOG text still lists the original incorrect distribution (including South and Southeast Asia, excluding China/East Asia).

Tachysurus truncatus is listed in the Cat-E-Log as being distributed in "South and southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand."

The species was described from a locality in China, so this distribution is at least incomplete, but I am pretty certain they have not been recorded in ...

I mentioned this to a few people at Catcon, but Jairo Arroyave (first author here) visited us at the museum this semester and he and I chatted about Catcon and similar events. He wanted me to pass along that he would love to be invited to speak at hobby events like that.

He is not a hobbyist ...

Did they announce a location and/or date for the next CatCon? I've heard rumor, but I'd rather not repeat it in case it's false.

Catcon was great, so glad TFCB took it on. It was great to see everyone there (and meet some more PC people in person).
