I saw that on Imperial Tropicals too, and may get some myself out of curiosity. So that's what they looked like? How do they look, now that they've settled in for a while?

I've been lurking, trying to learn more about them myself. It'd be awesome to see some pics & lengths of ones with known ages. Everything I've seen so far, is wild caught of unknown age (only identified by color phase).

My young (<1") L144 had something similar. all the slow growing runts were much paler (some completely white) than the healthy quicker growing ones. I started feeding them daily, as much as they could eat in a day, and they started growing quicker & eventually got some color back.
